Bob and Becky wine country professional photographers
A lot of people wonder about our name. It’s pronounced: tib’ē-dah-bō. Literal translation in Latin is “To you, I give”
Tib-i-da-bo (tib’ē-dah-bō) n. 1. “To you I give this beautiful view.” [From Latin tibi, you, dabo I give] 2. The name of a mountain overlooking Barcelona, Spain.
Remember those geeky guys who hung around the dark room and had a camera always in hand back in Jr. High and High school? Well that was Bob. He went on to be the photo editor at his high school and local college and he hasn’t looked back. Tibidabo Photography came about in 2007 when Becky joined Bob to create a now successful wedding and portrait studio serving northern California and beyond. In addition to Tibidabo, Bob has lots of fun staying busy with art, product, and travel photography. A trained pilot, and an expert boatman with a passion for travel; he’s comfortable on land, air and sea with his camera slung over his shoulder.
When Becky married Bob she was an elementary school teacher who had been assisting weddings on the weekends. That was 10 years ago. Along with her Elementary School teaching credential, she also has a supplementary degree in Art and has taught many children’s art classes over the years. Becky compliments Bob’s photo-journalistic style with a love for detail and beauty. Bob and Becky have an office, studio and home on a tree-lined street in the down town art district of Santa Rosa, Ca. known as SOFA.
